Dromiskin
Situated just two miles north of Castlebellingham this site was an important ecclesiastical centre from the 5th century. A Round Tower from the early monastery still stands in the churchyard of the Church of Ireland parish church. There are also the remains of a ringed-cross in the Celtic style and a carved spiral pillar of 9th/10th century origin close by.
