Dundalk
About half way between Dublin and Belfast, lies the northernmost town of the province of Leinster. Dundalk has strong connections with the mythical hero Cúchulainn. The town is also of Norman foundation and was a significant market town throughout the middle ages. The splendid County Museum is housed in a renovated 18th century warehouse. Dundalk’s leading hotels also offer comfort and service plus a superb range of leisure and conference facilities.
